Calvin Eugene Pickup, Jr.

Calvin Eugene Pickup, Jr., born on October 21, 1975, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on September 3, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his parents, Nancy Kingfisher and Calvin Pickup. He leaves behind three cherished daughters: Marlena Wesley of Chouteau, OK, and Kacie Pickup and Candace Pickup, both of Tulsa, OK. Calvin was a devoted brother and Uncle who adored spending time with his nieces and nephews and instilled in them the values of love and family. He will be remembered as a loving uncle and a father figure to his nieces and nephews, Isabel, Javier, Isela, and Eddie. He was a great uncle to Selena, Emmiliano, Nila, and Joshua who love him very much.
Calvin was a proud grandfather, affectionately known as Papa to his grandchildren: Ivy, Ila, Xavier, Ari, Eliana, Julius, and one grandchild on the way. His passion for family was evident in the joyous moments he spent playing with his nieces, nephews, and grandkids, taking them to the park and adventures through the woods.
He is also survived by his siblings: Erick Kingfisher and his wife Pawnee of Salina, OK; Bruce Pickup of Salina, OK; Benjamin Wilson of Pryor, OK; stepbrother, Johnny Ray; and sister Monica Pickup of Broken Arrow, OK. He was his sister's keeper and always there for her through all things.
Calvin was preceded in death by his brother, Derek Kingfisher; sister, Shannon Mace; maternal grandparents, Maggie and Jackson Kingfisher; paternal grandparents, Ollie Stoneburner and Bill Pickup; and stepsister, Barbara Ann.
Funeral services for Calvin will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Little Rock Baptist Church with Reverend Duke Pickup officiating. Interment will follow at Grass Cemetery with Javier Robles, Eddie Lopez, Isela Lopez, Jose Rodriguez, CJ Parsons, and Aaron Hernandez serving as casket bearers. Isabel Garcia will serve as an honorary casket bearer. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Shipman's Funeral Home.
