John Michael Littledave
September 6, 1955 - December 22, 2024
Johnny Michael Littledave, 69, was born on September 6, 1955, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Roy Littledave and Elizabeth (Ketcher) Littledave. He departed this life on December 22, 2024. He was the fourth eldest of 11 children and father of two sons - Jonathan and Nathan. John was a dedicated member of Standing Rock Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and Brotherhood treasurer. He consistently read and studied the Bible and enjoyed going on trips with the church. He enjoyed attending family gatherings with his brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces, and nephews, all while playing a good game of bingo. He was an avid OU football fan and WWE wrestling fan, never missing an episode of Monday Night Raw.
John thoroughly enjoyed spending time with and loved all his grandchildren - Owen, Mila, Addison, McKinlee, and adopted granddaughter, Maria. During his lifetime, John was a softball player, horseshoe pitcher, marble player, chased his sister around with grasshoppers, was his mother's favorite child they said (they shared a birthday). He liked playing games, having family yard sales, and having dance-offs with his great-nieces. He was always a funny and an all - around good guy. He lived in Salina, Oklahoma for most of his life and in North Carolina with his brother, David. He retired from Simmons Processing Plant in Jay, Oklahoma, where he worked off and on for nearly 20 years.
John is survived by his sons, Jonathan Littledave and wife Mia of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Nathan Littledave of Claremore, Oklahoma; brothers, Gary Littledave and wife Kathy of Stilwell, Oklahoma, David Littledave, and wife Anniwake of Cherokee, North Carolina; Richard Littledave of Salina, Oklahoma; Greg Littledave of Salina, Oklahoma, and Marcus Littledave and wife Vicki of Jay, Oklahoma; sisters, Lavonne Littledave and Linda Littledave of the home, Karen Proctor of Colcord, Oklahoma, and Sandra Bark and husband Robert of Colcord, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Littledave, mother, Elizabeth Littledave, and brother, Steve Littledave.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2024, at Standing Rock Baptist Church in Salina, Oklahoma with Pastor Jesse Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Grass Cemetery in Salina with Clint Proctor, Kyle Bark, Richard Littledave, Wesley Griffin, TJ Kingfisher, and Buddy Ross serving as casket bearers.
