November 13, 1971 - May 1, 2025

Brett Sean Thomas, 53-year-old Pryor resident, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on November 13, 1971, in Claremore to Carl and Diana (Tanner) Thomas. Brett was a 1990 graduate of Pryor High School. He owned and operated Thomas Welding Company for several years, he built several smokers with his welding talents. Brett loved the outdoors, going fishing, hunting, and welding projects. He loved to go dancing and play pool.

He is preceded in death by his mother Diana (Tanner) Harjo.

The family includes his three loving daughters, Shayla Rena Cunningham and husband Joshua of Claremore, Savana Bren Wessels and husband Wian of Pryor and Seyton Sean Thomas of Pryor, his father, Carl Thomas of Pryor, two brothers, Bradley Thomas of Tulsa, Brandon Thomas and wife Sheila of Pryor, a sister, Lori Jones of Chouteau, grandchildren, Charlott Cunningham, Jonah Cunningham, Jasper Cunningham, Arlo Wessels and Ari Wessels.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor.

The celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephens-Key Chapel, with Mr. Jason Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Online condolences may be made at www.stephens-key.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in care of Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
