Talitha Nachise Turner, born on September 20, 1980, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at her home, at the age of 44. Throughout her life, Talitha devoted herself to caring for others, spending many years in the healthcare field where her compassion and dedication shone brightly. She attended Wickliffe School from Kindergarten to 8th grade and was a proud graduate of Pryor High School where she graduated with the class of 1999. Talitha also pursued higher education for two years at the University of Arkansas. Her commitment to her community extended beyond her professional life; in her younger years, she engaged in youth mission work with her basketball teams and local churches, traveling to various countries including India, South Africa, Mexico, and Canada. Talitha's passion also included participating in traditional pow wow dancing and playing basketball, activities that enriched her life and the lives of those around her. Talitha's pride and joy was her son, Elijah Turner, who was the center of her world. She cherished every moment spent with him, attending his sporting events and supporting his activities with unwavering dedication. She also leaves behind brothers, Jeremy Giles of Salina, Oklahoma, and Brad Giles of Chouteau, Oklahoma; special friends, Kevin and LaKisha Cyrus of Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with many other relatives and friends. Talitha is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fred and Doris Turner; maternal grandparents, Todum and Annie Hair; great grandparents, Albert and Clyda Turner, and Thomas and Alice Wells; uncles, Richard Chewey, Earl Hair, and Bob Hunter; cousin, Todd Bark; and Jeannie Turner.
