Elizabeth Ann (Leach) Powers
March 6, 1954 - February 17, 2025
Elizabeth Ann (Leach) Powers, 70, of Salina, passed away on February 17, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on March 6, 1954, to AJ Leach and Audry (Hurt) Leach. She had a passion for yard sales - both searching for treasures and hosting her own. Her love for collecting dolls grew into a cherished collection of over 100. She found joy in gardening, decorating for Halloween, and playing bingo, especially in her later years when she enjoyed bingo nights with her friend, Ron. Some of her happiest moments were spent riding motorcycles with Barry, feeling the freedom of the open road. Above all, Elizabeth's greatest love was for her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment with them, always offering love, laughter, and warmth. Her legacy of kindness and devotion to family will be carried on through those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Barry Holt of Salina, OK; her sons, Robert Powers and wife Bethany of Pryor, OK, and Jeff Powers and wife Rebecca of Salina, OK; grandchildren, Alysia Shaw and husband KJ, Braxton Powers, Rhett Powers, Ryatt Powers, Taylor Powers, Makenzie Powers, Blake Powers, Addison Powers, and Alex Powers; great-grandchildren, Malachi Shaw, Madden Shaw, Landon Stewart, Daisy Powers, Presley Powers, and Kynlee Smith. She also leaves behind her sisters, Vickie Adams and husband Alfred of Salina, OK, and Leslie McCoy and husband Zach of Pryor, OK; special friends, Barbara Marble, Joye Pryor, and Sally Cox; her aunts, Carolyn Durling and husband Curtis, Linda Hurt, Leta Hurt, and Pat Hurt; and her uncles, Clifford Hurt and wife Reba, and Jimmy and wife Wanda. She was preceded in death by her parents, AJ and Audry Leach; her grandson Payton Powers, sister, Betty Stafford, and her infant twin siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor. Burial will follow at Ross-Mayes Cemetery.
