Marie Crow
September 18, 1934 - May 15, 2014

Marie E. Crow, 79, of Big Cabin, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 18, 1934 in Inola, Oklahoma; the daughter of Roy and Ellen (Peterson) Wright. Marie graduated from Pryor High School in 1952 and married the love of her life, LeRoy Crow, on July 14, 1953 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Marie loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. She always liked to watch sports, especially baseball. Marie enjoyed reading and to work crossword puzzles. Above all, Marie loved her family. She cherished each moment she had to spend with them. She will be remembered by all the memories she leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in the Utopia Baptist Church in Big Cabin, Oklahoma with Reverend Randy Thorman officiating. Interment will be in the Ghormely Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Utopia Baptist Church Building Fund. To leave her family a message, please visit her Book of Memories at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Marie is survived by her husband, LeRoy Crow of the home; 1 son, David and wife Sherry Crow of Owasso, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Tina and husband Jeff Reames of Edmond, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Richard and wife Jennie of Georgia; 2 sisters, Betty and husband Jerry Freeman of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Anna Mae and husband Bobby Hamilton of Pryor, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ellen Wright and her sister, Sharon Callison.
