LeRoy Walter Crow, 92, of Edmond, Oklahoma formerly Pensacola, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, November 7th, 2024, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born on March 18th, 1932, in Adair, Oklahoma; the son of George and Lillie (Smith) Crow. LeRoy graduated from Pryor High School in 1952 and married Marie Wright on July 14th, 1953, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. LeRoy initially worked for the Pryor Police Department but spent the majority of his career driving a truck for National Trailer Convoy, Cardox, and retired from Air Liquide. LeRoy loved to fish for crappie and catfish in Big Cabin Creek, on Lake Hudson, near his home. He especially enjoyed fishing with his family. LeRoy's other passion was woodworking. He spent countless hours building furniture, birdhouses, and bird feeders. LeRoy also enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
LeRoy is survived by one son, David, and wife Sherry of Owasso, Oklahoma, one daughter Tina, and husband Jeff Reames, of Edmond, Oklahoma, three granddaughters, Taylor and husband Clint Beaird of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jillian and husband Dustin Pollard of Edmond, Oklahoma, Abbey and husband Roger Courson of Owasso, Oklahoma, one grandson, Kevin Crow of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marie, of 61 years, parents, George and Lillie Crow, 2 sisters, and 5 brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Inurnment will take place at Ghormley Cemetery.
