David Earl Breshears
September 25, 1963 - November 25, 2024

David Earl Breshears, 61-year-old Chelsea resident, passed away on November 25, 2024, near Cloudy, Oklahoma. He was born on September 25, 1963, in Pryor to David Franklin Breshears and Doris Marie (Barnes) Breshears. David attended and graduated from Pryor High School in 1982. He worked in maintenance for the Baker-Hughes Company in Claremore. David was a member of the Foyil Assembly of God Church, where he was also a member of their men's group and served as sound technician, and in many other capacities. He loved to tinker with projects, was an avid hunter and fisherman, eagle collector and watcher, a great cook, he loved to smoke meats, participate in chili cookoffs, and feeding his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Breshears in 2023, his uncles, Bobby Barnes, Lloyd Barnes, Ray Barnes, aunt, Helen Morgan, nephew, Steven Shipp, great-niece, Zowie Johnson, cousin, Harold Morgan, his paternal and maternal grandparents.

David is survived by his companion, Cathy Klotz, his father, David Franklin Breshears, sisters, Vivian Brashears, Mary Pope, and Synthia Hoffman, nieces and nephews, Margina Pope, Mariah Pope, Shawnna Lasley (Branden), Scott Hoffman (Deanna), Cassie Cole (Scott Mercer), and Kristopher Shipp, numerous other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care in Pryor.

The celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Foyil, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jack DaMico officiating. Interment will follow at the Ghormley Cemetery near Pensacola. Online condolences may be made at www.stephens-key.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
