Makayla Lynn Brewster
February 16, 2008 - February 11, 2021
Makayla Lynn Brewster was born on February 16, 2008 in Pryor to Anthony William and Angela (Peters) Brewster; she passed away on February 11, 2021 at her home in Broken Arrow at the age of 12.
Makayla lived in Chouteau with her parents for a short time after her birth, then the family moved to Broken Arrow in October of 2009 where she has lived ever since. She was currently attending 7th grade at Broken Arrow Public Schools.
Makayla excelled in everything she did; she loved gymnastics and volleyball. Her favorite class at school was P.E. and she had her art showcased many times at the annual art show at NSU. She loved her family and was proud to be the oldest cousin and the big sister. She loved all of her friends dearly and you would never catch her far from her skateboard with her friends; her favorite pastime was playing slime with her sisters and helping her sister, Brianna, work on her backflip. Makayla was a member of Broken Arrow Nazarene Church. She was a fun-loving, smart and witty girl who was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Angela Brewster of Broken Arrow and two sisters, Brianna and Presley Brewster of Broken Arrow; five sets of grandparents, many cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald and Shauna Thomas; great uncle, Donald Gibbs and great-great grandmother, Jessie Gibbs.
