Boyd Steele, 82, of Kingston,
Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home
in Kingston.
He was born on December 5, 1940, in Griggs,
Oklahoma to the late Dave Steele and Opal B. Jiles Harrelson.
Boyd was raised in Texhoma, Oklahoma. He married Glenna Jane
Couch on March 16, 1962, in Gruver, Texas. In 1964 they moved
to Las Vegas, Nevada where he started his own business drilling
water wells. He was a drilling contractor for 40 years. In 2004,
they moved to Kingston where they lived the rest of their
lives. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a
32-Degree Mason. He was also a part of the Scottish Rite and a
Shriner. Boyd enjoyed working, fishing, shooting guns, flying
his plane, gardening, most of all loved his birds.
He is survived by Wife Glenna
Steele, Kingston, Oklahoma. Daughter Shannon Wyatt and husband
Erick, Kingston, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Allison Boone, Jillian
Boone, Payton Giles, and Lexi Wyatt. Great Grandson Braxton
Walter Glenn.
Boyd was preceded in death by his
parents, 2 brothers; Lloyd and Floyd Eslinger, & 1 sister;
Juanita Woolley.
Casket Bearers Jimmy Anderson,
Erick Wyatt, Triston Knight, Hunter Glenn, Alex Forder, & Chris
Duroy.
