Ethel Mae Nelson, age 66, a lifelong resident of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 8, 2018.
She was born on June 25, 1951 to
Wilmer and Rosie Mae (Lornes) Nelson in Madill, Oklahoma. She worked
as a tire manufacture and she enjoyed puzzles and spending time with
her grandkids. Ethel was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt
and friend.
She leaves behind her kids, Rochelle Williams of Madill, OK, Tonya
Perry and Mike Stewart of Pauls Valley, OK and Bill Perry and wife
Lee Etta Perry; grandchildren, Derrick Williams (DJ) Jr. of Ardmore,
OK, Jalen and Vanessa Williams of Madill, OK, Myles and Angelica
Perry of Ardmore, OK, Exavier Perry of Madill, OK, Sheridan Gunter
of Tishomingo, OK, Erin Perry of Norman, OK, Brittney Scott of
Norman, OK, Phillip Stewart of Madill, OK, Brandon Stewart of
Madill, OK, Darrell Newton of Pauls Valley, OK and Sharday Stewart
of Hennepin, OK; step-children, Shami Black of California, Dionne
Barr and Broderick Barr of Texas; great-grandchildren, Asyia
Lambert, Masyn Garcia, Aliyah Perry, Adrian Williams, Alysia
Williams, Chevy Williams, Govani Jay Williams; brothers, Ricky
Nelson of Oklahoma City, OK, Wilmer “Boe” Nelson of Shawnee, OK and
Jimmy Nelson of Dallas, TX; sisters, Mariovi Cheadle of Tishomingo,
OK and Barbara Kizer of Chickasha, OK. Along with a host of nieces,
nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Nelson; father, Bill
Nelson; brothers, Larry Nelson and David Parker; sister, Debra
Teague and special friend James “Smack” Black.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2 PM at Brown’s
Chapel in Madill, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Davis and
pallbearers will be Kelly Menifee, Charles Byars, Randy Morris,
Willie Jordan, Brandon Stewart, Phillip Stewart, Jerome Fields and
Maurice Kemp. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Williams, Jr.
(DJ), Jalen Williams (grandson) and Angie Richards.
Interment will be at Woodberry Cemetery.
Family night will be Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Brown’s Chapel in Madill, Oklahoma.
