Franklin Jr. Mangum, 77, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at his home in Kingston.
He was born on April 12, 1946, in Shay, Oklahoma to the late Edley Willis Mangum and Flora Lucille Arterberry Shields. Frank was raised in Madill where he attended school. He married Betty Gean Tankersley on April 14, 1969, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Frank worked as a mechanic for Catfish Bay and Soldier Creek Marina and for many years at Godfrey Oil Company in Madill. He attended the Family Christian Center Church in Madill, and he enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
Frank is survived by Wife: Betty Mangum, Kingston, Oklahoma. Son: Chad Franklin Dean Mangum, Kingston, Oklahoma. 5 Grandchildren. Siblings: Eddie Mangum, Southgate, California; Reba McGlocklin and husband Gary, Oakland, Oklahoma; Billie Doyal and husband Jimmy, Mannsville, Oklahoma.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 grandson: Nicholas Mangum.
Casket Bearers: Scotty Croasdale, John White, Jeremy White, Kenny White, Willard Velebil, Adam Harris, Hunter Groves, Chad Dylan Mangum.
