Alice Ruth Kenedy, 94, of Mannsville, Oklahoma passed away on February 18, 2023, at her home in Mannsville.
Alice was born on January 19, 1929, in Welty, Oklahoma to the late Clarence William Kellogg and Rachel Elizabeth Fields Kellogg. She grew up in Francis, Oklahoma and later moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she attended school. She married Ernest F. Kenedy in 1953 and they moved to Mannsville where she took care of the home and raised their children. Ernest passed away in 1986 and Alice worked in local restaurants. Alice was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God church in Mannsville where she would help with all the dinners. She loved cooking, being outdoors and always enjoyed Mark Hughes bringing her donut holes on Saturday mornings.
Alice is survived by Children Tom Tipton and wife Sandy, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Darrell Tipton, Moore, Oklahoma; Mary Lowery and husband Willie, Mannsville, Oklahoma; Carolyn Adams, and husband Steve, Quinton, Oklahoma; Carol Derfoldi and husband Tony, Las Vegas, Nevada; Brenda Carter and husband David, Lebanon, Oklahoma. 10 Grandchildren. 21 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and her church family.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son; John Kenedy, 1 grandson; Dustin Cody and all her brothers and sisters.
Casket Bearers: Dean Lowery, John Wood, Robbie Kenedy, Gary Kenedy, Nathaniel Jones and Mark Hughes.
