Troy Moss Jones 89, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Madill Hospital.
He was born on January 24, 1933, in Paluxy, Texas to the late Elvis Neuman Jones and Cora Elizabeth Moss Jones. Troy was raised in Stephenville, Texas where he attended school. He joined the United States Army and served for 3 years receiving an Honorable discharge. Troy married Patricia Aline Jones on August 30, 1958 in Poteau, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on January 21, 2021. He worked as a truck driver until 1960 before working as a Aircraft Mechanic retiring after 38 years in Edmond, Oklahoma. In 2007 they moved to Kingston where he lived the rest of his life. Troy was a member with the Light House Methodist Church, and the Odd Fellow Lodge in Edmond. He enjoyed working with wood and playing cards and dominos.
He is survived by children: Linda Byers and husband Ronnie; Cynthia Lawson and husband Calvin; Sandra Roberts; Grandchildren: Gary Roberts and wife Kayci, Troya Roberts and husband Frank, Troy Aebischer and wife Amber, Tony Byers, Stephen Byers and wife Raquel, Cody Aebischer and wife Laura; Numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter; Charleen Johnston, son in-law; Mark Johnston and granddaughter; Kylie Aebischer.
Casket Bearers: Gary Roberts, Frank Roberts, Troy Aebischer, Tony Byers, Stephen Byers, Cody Aebischer.
