Linda "Judy" Ruth Hamilton, 84, of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away on January 20, 2023, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore. 

Linda was born on August 7, 1938, in Clemscott, Oklahoma to the late Dennis Clifford Williams and Ruth Irene Cannon Williams.  She grew up in the Fox, Graham and Pruitt City, Oklahoma area and graduated from Fox High School in 1956.  Linda moved to Ardmore and worked for Harry M. Carter Insurance Agency.  She also worked for Ruth Spring and later Harry Spring as a bookkeeper.  After retiring in 2012 Linda moved to Madill where she lived for a short time before moving to Southbrook Nursing Center in Ardmore where she has lived the past 5 years. She loved to read, do crossword, and word search puzzles.  Linda also enjoyed watching game shows, the Dallas Cowboys and cooking, but working brought her the greatest joy.         

Linda is survived by Children Brad Hamilton and wife Shelly, Madill, Oklahoma; Dennis Hamilton, Frisco, Texas; Bill Hamilton and wife Terri, Lone Grove, Oklahoma. 5 Grandchildren:  Taylor Hamilton, Josh Hamilton and wife Autum, Luke Hamilton, Ben Hamilton, and Jordan Hamilton. Sister Jerrie Magruder, Mansfield, Texas. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Billy Williams.     

Casket Bearers Dennis Hamilton, Bill Hamilton, Brad Hamilton, Luke Hamilton, Ben Hamilton, Jordan Hamilton, Josh Hamilton. Honorary Bearers Staff of Southbrook Nursing Center.
