Lahoma Eslick Clark was born on March 21, 1941, in Durant, Oklahoma to Homer and Lucy (Eastwood) Eslick. Lahoma entered eternal rest on December 1, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 80.

A lifelong resident of Durant, Lahoma graduated from Cobb School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University with her master’s degree. She married William Clark on November 6, 1959, at Calvary Baptist Church. They have been united in marriage for 62 years and blessed with two children, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Lahoma worked as Director of Veteran’s Office and Indian Student Center and a Psychology instructor at Southeastern where she retired. She was of the Baptist faith, and she enjoyed traveling with her husband, keeping her grandbabies, and gardening. Lahoma’s favorite day of the week was Sunday when she would cook and bake, and all her family would gather. Lahoma’s greatest joy in her life was her family and she dearly treasured the time she spent with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Homer Eslick; grandmother Mary Eslick and aunt and uncle Fanny and Jack Eslick.

Loved ones left behind to continue her legacy are her husband William Clark of the home; daughter Kim Milligan and husband Keith; son James Clark and wife Betsy; sister Gwen Castleman; grandchildren Kory Milligan and wife Taylor, Kody Milligan and wife Haley, Krista Walker and husband Aaron, Kendra Clark and Billy Henry, Lauren McMichael, Sara McMichael and Keely Nunnally and husband Jonathan; great grandchildren Kailani, Kalea and Waco Milligan, Harper Walker, Maddox Henry, Gage and Gavin Harwood and Cade and Katherine Nunnally; special friends Danny Petersen and Juan Sanchez and numerous extended family and friends.
