Fidel Barbosa, 75, of Madill, Oklahoma
passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at his home in Madill.
He
was born on September 16, 1946, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to
late Fidel Barbosa and Agripina Rivas Barbosa. He married Guadalupe
Medina Contreras on November 20, 1971, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas,
Mexico and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2021. Fidel was
raised in Mexico and moved to Madill in 1998 where he worked at the
Madill Public School for several years. He was of the Catholic
faith, and he enjoyed watching soccer, playing bingo and being with
his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by c

Jose Miguel Barbosa, Armandina Barbosa, Santa Monica Barbosa; Grandchildren:
Yajahira Rosales, Jose G. Rosales, Jocelynn Lopez, Promise Lopez,
Yadira
Barbosa, Xiomara Munoz, Yailyn Barbosa, Jayden Barbosa, Sofia
Granados; Great Grandchildren: Camila Olvera, Cain Olvera, Caique
Olvera, Caliana Olvera; Sister: Rosa Barbosa, Matamoros,
Mexico.
Fidel was preceded in death by his
parents, wife and several brothers and sisters.
Casket Bearers: Jose Miguel Barbosa, Jose Cortinas, Amado Arreola, Rafael Lopez, Octavio Granados, Saul Medina.
