Vivian Lorene (Arterberry) Allison, of Madill, was born April 13, 1932 in Shay, OK to William and Ora (Bridgeman) Arterberry. Vivian went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Madill, OK at the age of 88 years and 4 months.

On September 16, 1950, T.J. and Vivian Lorene Arterberry were united in marriage and had spent 63 wonderful years together before his passing on September 6, 2014. She worked at Madill Manufacturing Company, as a reception for many years for Dr. Ewing’s dentist office, and then went on to work for the Marshall County Water Department before retiring in 2012. Vivian was a member of the Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Madill, OK. She loved her church family and helped out in many ways there. She loved flowers, cooking “the best chocolate pies ever”, going shopping, and spending time with her family.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers; Alfred Arterberry, Newton Arterberry, and Jimmy Arterberry and sister Flora Shields.

Survivors include her son Tommy Allison and wife Peggy of Madill, daughter Vickie Brown and husband Tommy of Durant, grandson Grant Brown and wife Tammy of Grayslake, IL, granddaughter Shanda Olmstead and husband Ryan of Atoka, grandsons Casey Allison and Clay Allison both of Madill, great granddaughter Abby Olmstead of Atoka, step grandson Josh Cantrell and wife Tanya and children Jarron and Marshall of Kingston, step grandson Adam Cantrell and wife Angie and children Alivia and Alden of Madill, step granddaughter Sarah Burnett and husband Wesley and children Lyndon and Camden of Durant, step great grandson Bobby Harris and Hannah and son Beau and daughter Pearl of Grayslake, IL, step great grandson Casey Weaver and Danielle and daughter Ciara and son Cameron of Grayslake, IL, numerous niece, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Woodberry Forest Cemetery in Madill, OK with Bro. Lyndol Adams officiating.
