Madill – Henry Walter Allen Jr., 74, a former resident of the Enid area, died
Wednesday in Madill. The funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday at Watts Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Ken Pate and the Rev. Bennie Mathews officiating. Burial
will be in Woodberry Forest Cemetery.
He was born June 9, 1913, in Laverne. He lived in that area for 32 years, then
in Ponca City, Eugene, Oregon, and Enid before moving near Ardmore. He and Leona
Mae Coleman were married August 11, 1935, in Tulsa.
Allen was a farmer, rancher, car salesman and member of the Methodists Church in
Marietta.
Survivors include his wife, Leona of Lake Murray; a son, Walt of Madill; a
daughter, Jacqueline Tinnman of Yukon; and four grandchildren.
