Pearl Etta Davis, 101, died peacefully September 19, in Aurora, CO, surrounded
by loving family and friends.
She was born October 8, 1913, in Nowata, OK, to
Carl and Maggie Muret. As a long time resident of Durant, OK, Pearl taught
school, played bridge, was active in New Comers Club. She was a member of Durant
United Methodist Church.
Pearl is survived by her son, Dan (Kay) Davis, Aurora,
Co, Pam (John) Ables, Roy, WA; grandchildren: Michael (Lisa) Davis, Chandler,
OK, Judy (Dennie) Bourbeau, Chania, Crete, Jim (Laurie) Davis, Evergreen, CO,
Clayton Ables, Lakewood, WA, and Marissa Ables, Seattle, WA; 15 great
grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death
by her husband, Melvin Davis, her parents, and 2 siblings. Memorial service will
be held Saturday, September 26, at Cherry Creek Retirement Village.
Interment
will be Tuesday, September 29, in Madill, OK. Contributions can be made to the
Durant United Methodist Church, Durant, OK, or to a charity of your choice.
