Shirley (Stewart) Tuggle

Shirley Tuggle, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed into her new life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 13, 2020 at the age of 83.

She was born in Troup, Texas on February 20, 1937 to Paul Stewart and Troy (Alexander) Stewart.

Family hour will be one hour before the service 1-2:00 PM Saturday November 21st at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma. The chapel service will begin at 2:00 PM with Gavin Acree officiating.

She will be buried at the Shay Cemetery in Kingston but the family has requested there be no one in attendance at the burial.

Her honorary pallbearers will be Jeremie Fisher, David Fisher, Billy Tuggle, and Brian Morris.

Shirley was considered and awesome mother, grandmother, and great grandmother by her family. She was a dedicated Christian woman who spent many many hours praying for others as a prayer warrior. Her daily time with the Lord was 3:00 AM to 5 or 6:00 AM, she would walk the floor praying for her family and the nations.

Mrs. Tuggle is survived by her husband, Bill Tuggle, children, Mike Tuggle of Ada, Oklahoma, and daughter, Debbie Fisher of Durant, Oklahoma, cherished grandchildren, Billy, Sarah, Jeremie, and David, 12 great grandchildren, and two brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Tuggle was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Troy Stewart.
