Dallas Wayne Scribner, 80, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on November 18, 2021, at the Texoma
Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

He was born on June 6, 1941, in Powell, Oklahoma to the late Vernon Dallas Scribner and Bobbie Colleen Gwartney Scribner.  He was raised in Powell where he attended school  and later graduated at Madill High School in 1959. 

Wayne married Violet Yvonne Waggoner on June 22,   in Powell. He worked as a carpenter until his accident, 
then in 1964 he owned and operated Wayne  Scribner Real Estate and insurance Agency working until he retired in 1991. Wayne was very active in his community developing Dallas Acres in Kingston and working as the County Commissioner for 4 years. He served on the Kingston School Board for several years, Texoma Bank board, BancFirst board and the Civil Service board. Wayne was a member of the Optimists Club, A MASON and an honorary member of the WWII 315th 79th Infantry Division. Wayne was affiliated with the Pentecostal Faith, and he enjoyed teaching Sunday school. He enjoyed hunting, singing and playing his guitar.
 
He is survived by his  Wife: Yvonne Scribner, Kingston, Oklahoma; Children: Dale Scribner and wife Tam, Kingston, Oklahoma, Susan Spickett and husband Michael, Ardmore, Oklahoma, Sonseeahra Beasley, Kingston, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Cunningham and husband Ron Dean, Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren: Dallas Scribner and wife Kaley, Rachel Scribner, Jared Wanzer, Sean Wanzer, Hillary Cunningham and Brock Cunningham. 
Great Grandchild: Holland Bell Scribner Siblings: Sherry Owens and husband Troy, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kelsey Scribner and wife Lana, Willis, Oklahoma, Anne Lasiter & husband Robbie, Kingston, Oklahoma.
 
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter: Dora Gaye Scribner.
 
Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Oklahoma from 12:00
pm to 8:00 pm with a family hour from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
 
Funeral services will be Monday, November 22, 2021, at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Oklahoma at
2:00 pm. Kent Jensen will officiate the service.

Interment will be at the Powell Cemetery, Powell,Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.

Casket Bearers: Raymond Nelms, Dallas Scribner III, Jared Wanzer, Sean Wanzer, Brock Cunningham, Ron Dean Cunningham and Michael Spickett.
 
Honorary Bearers: Sam Goodwin, Ed Beasley, Terry Eldright, Darwin Cox, Salty Melton,  Blake Smiley.
