She was born in Grady, Oklahoma on July 13, 1947, to Albert
and Clara Mae (Rye) Capehart. Geri, as she was known to many, worked many jobs but in later years, as an
LVN, both at Lake Forest Good Samaritan in Denton and at Pecan Tree
in Gainesville. The job which gave her the most joy was being a cook and server at Lake Dallas Primary
for 10 years. Geri was an avid reader of mostly fiction or a good
mystery. She was a diehard Sooner fan andwould be found watching football or girls' softball with her
husband, John. A generous woman of both time and her treasures, she
was always putting others above herself. Her family was her most prized possession, although she could strike
up a conversation about her beloved dogs at any moment.
Interment will be at the Powell Cemetery, Powell, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
