Nancy was
born on April 23, 1952, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Dorris
Bruster and Charlesy Bonnez Bruster. She was raised and attended
the Madill schools all of her life. On November 25, 1987, in
Tishomingo, Oklahoma she married her high school sweetheart,
William (Bill) Dean Scribner. She and Bill made their home in
Madill working hard as young parents and raising their children.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at Madill hospital, as bookkeeper
for Qualls Oil Company and Ratcliff Oil Company before attending
Murray State College where she received her degree in nursing.
After receiving her degree, she worked primarily as RN and Nurse
Manager at Rolling Hills Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Nancy also
worked as an RN for a local home health agency where she enjoyed
the gratitude from being of service to the those in the
community, especially the ones that were friends of her family.
