Raul Fernandez Flores

Raul Fernandez Flores, 49, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Raul was born on October 9, 1976, in Ojo De Agua, Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Pedro Fernandez and Lucia Flores Ramirez. He was raised in Francisco R. Murguia and moved to Madill at the age of 16, where he began working in the construction industry.

Raul was known for his love of life and his vibrant personality. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, riding horses, and shooting. He took pride in his appearance, he liked to look good, smell nice, and he especially loved good food, though he was known for being particular about what he ate.

Raul will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Parents: Pedro Fernandez and Lucia Flores Ramirez, Madill, Oklahoma
Son: Jair Gonzalez, Durant, Oklahoma
Daughters: Abigail Fernandez, Jazmin Fernandez, and Jocelyne Fernandez, all of El Paso, Texas
1 Granddaughter: Quetzaly Fernandez
Brothers: Ruben Fernandez and wife Yesenia, of Madill, Oklahoma
Sisters: Tina Diaz and husband Jesus of Madill, Oklahoma
Rosa Fernandez of Madill, Oklahoma
Paula Fernandez of Madill, Oklahoma
Raquel Cabrales and husband Manuel of Madill, Oklahoma
Nieces and Nephews: Osvaldo, Jesus Jr., and Aaron Diaz,
Berenice, Jacqueline, Uriel and Cristian Garcia
Citlaly and Julian Fernandez
Alina, Akzel and Arexy Fernandez
Jeylah, Ellie Anah, Rey and Briellah Cabrales

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Juana Fernandez; his maternal grandmother, Rosa Ramirez; and his maternal grandfather, Arnulfo Flores.
