Services for Anita Mose, 63, were Monday at 2:00
p.m. In the Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home,
Ardmore. Officiating was Rev. Henry Marris.
The daughter of Watson and Emma Palmer, Mrs. Mose
was born June 6, 1928, at Coalgate and died November
29, 1991, in an Ardmore hospital after a brief
illness. She had lived in the Madill area all of her
life and was employed by the Wyndham Baking Company.
Survivors include two sons, James Mose of Madill and
Don Mose of Bennington; three daughters, Shirley
Mose of McMillan, and Dorislene Morgan and Christine
Lewis, both of Ardmore; a brother, Raymond Palmer of
Ardmore; a sister, Lina Pickens of Madill; 10
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Mose was preceded in death by her husband,
Dorsey Mose, on September 27, 1971; two brothers,
Bobby “Lubbin” Palmer in 1979 and Edward Palmer in
1986; and two sisters, Listy Johnson in 1986 and
Elizabeth Palmer.
Interment was in the McMillan Cemetery under the
direction of the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers were Winston Palmer, Ronnie
Johnson, Harry Bohanan, Bobby Palmer, Clayburn
Pickens, and Bruce Palmer.
