Jackie Wayne Bean, 70, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, January 20,
2011 at the hospital in Madill.
He was born on April 12, 1940 to the late
Charles Vernon Bean and Ina Jewell Snider Bean in McMillan, Oklahoma. Jackie was
raised and lived his entire life in the McMillan and Madill area. He graduated
from Madill High School in 1958 and later attended Murray State College. Jackie
joined the United States Army and served in Germany before returning back to
Madill where he owned and operated Jackie's Furniture store. He currently owned
and operated Bean Dozer Repair in Madill. Jackie enjoyed riding motorcycles,
working, loved going to Sturgis and collecting antique cars and tractors. Jackie
was always active, on the move, had a positive attitude, good sense of humor and
a fun loving spirit.
He is survived by: Children: Rodney Caldwell and wife Lisa,
Ardmore, Oklahoma Jill Payne and husband, Curtis, Bells, Texas Shawn Manners,
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Step Children: Kayla Young, Indiana Shannon Beal,
Kingston, Oklahoma 2 Grandchildren 5 Step Grandchildren Brothers: Charles Woncie
Bean and wife, Patty, Dickson, Oklahoma Ken Bean and wife, Mary, Dickson,
Oklahoma Sister: Ann Bean Linehan and husband Rodger, Oakland, Oklahoma Love of
his life: Kelly Whitaker, Bonham, Texas
Jackie was preceded in death by his
parents and one nephew; Stan Bean.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 23, 2011
at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Family hour from
5pm to 7pm.
