Mae Frances Willis, 99, passed away on January 15, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Enville Community Church in Enville, Oklahoma with Rev. Ron Barnard of the Heritage Church in Wichita Falls, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Oklahoma under the ion of Lunns Colonial Funeral Home.
Mae was born May 14, 1912 to William and Annie Humphries Meeks in Willard, New Mexico. Mae married Johnny Condo Willis on December 24, 1931 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They moved to Wichita Falls from Lockney, Texas in 1986. Mae enjoyed sewing, quilting quilts, reading and gardening. Mae was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and greatgreat grandmother.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Condo Willis, a daughter, Theta Brotherton, and a granddaughter, Teresa Demetri. She is survived by a son, Johnny Willis and wife Marilyn of Wichita Falls, Texas five daughters, Jean Merchant and husband Cleo of Comfort, Texas, Cleta Cordray of Canyon, Texas, Jane Lindsey and husband Kenneth of Wichita Falls, Texas, Sue Birge and husband Larry of Wichita Falls, Texas and Lucretia Fennessy and husband Bob of Olympia, Washington. fifteen grandchildren thirty great grandchildren and two greatgreat grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 67 PM, for visitation.
