Ringwood – The funeral for Claudine May Schultz Unruh, 87, will be 10 AM Monday in the Chapel of Landman Funeral Home, Helena. The Reverends Leonard Vogt and Don Blom will officiate. Burial will be in West New Hopedale Mennonite Church Cemetery, North of Ringwood. The casket will be open at the funeral home from 2:30 to 7:30 PM today and before the service Monday.

She was born April 19, 1912, in Meno to Tobi and Lillie Schultz and died Friday, June 4, 1999.

She grew up on a farm South of Meno and received her elementary education in a rural school near Meno. She graduated from Ames High School. On November 3, 1935, she married Art Unruh, they lived on a farm near Ringwood until 1956 before moving into town. She was a member of West New Hopedale Mennonite Church.

In 1992, the couple moved to Fellowship Home Apartments in Fairview. The last four years, she lived in a nursing home in Enid.

Surviving are her husband, Art of Enid; one daughter, Lois Koehn of Meno; one grandson; three step grandchildren; one great – grandson; and for step great – grandsons.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one daughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to charity of donors choice

Ringwood – A graveside service for Arthur J. Unruh, 90, will be 2 PM Monday in West New Hopedale Mennonite Church Cemetery, North of Ringwood. The Rev. Leonard Vogt and Larry Brashear will officiate. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Helena. Visitation with family will be 2 to 8 PM today at the funeral home. The casket will be open at the funeral home from 10 AM until noon Monday.

He was born November 4, 1910, at Ringwood to John T. And Nettie Unruh and died Saturday, January 13, 2001.

He grew up north of Ringwood and received his elementary education at Riverside school. On November 3, 1935, he married Claudine Schultz. They lived on a farm in the Ringwood area until 1956, then moved into Ringwood. He was employed as the school's custodian for 17 years and drove a school bus for eight of those years.

He was a member of West New Hopedale Mennonite Church and served as Sunday school superintendent for 25 years as well as chairman of the church board. He was a resident of Great Plains Care Center in Helena.

Surviving are one daughter, Lois Koehn of Meno; one grandson, Todd Palmer of Stillwater; and one great – grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1999, four sisters, one brother and two half – brothers.
