Mrs. Adolph (Mary) Unruh, 85, Ringwood, died in a Fairview hospital early Monday following a long illness.
She was born in Lahoma October 15, 1895, and lived most of her life in the Ringwood area. She and Adolph Unruh were married May 26, 1920. They lived in several states before returning to Ringwood in 1963.
In addition to her husband Adolph of the home in Ringwood, Mrs. Unruh is survived by two sons, Leonard Unruh, Giddings, Texas, and Ernest Unruh, Eustis, Florida; five grandchildren; six great – grandchildren and three step – grandchildren; two brothers, Dan Smith of Verden and Sam Smith of Ringwood.
Funeral services for Mrs. Unruh will be at 10 AM Wednesday in the West New Hopedale Mennonite Church with the Rev. Mike Richert, pastor, and the Rev. Joe Sherrill officiating.
Mrs. Unruh will be buried in the church cemetery with the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ringwood – The funeral for Adolph Unruh, 94, who died Thursday, February 13, 1992, at the Fairview Hospital, will be at 2:30 PM Sunday at West New Hopedale Mennonite Church. The Rev. Mike Richert will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
He was born August 24, 1897, in Kansas to Henry and Nettie Unruh and moved at an early age to Ringwood, where he farmed. On May 26, 1920, he married Mary Smith.
Surviving are two sons, Leonard of Ringwood and Ernest of Eustis, Florida; five grandchildren; 10 great – grandchildren; and one great – great – grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, three sisters and two brothers.
