Ringwood-Funeral service for Anna Mae Wedel, 83, will be Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoar Mennonite Church, Goltry. Burial will be in Oakdale-Wedel Cemetery. Anna Mae was born on December 15, 1934 in Isabella to John Unruh and Dora Nightingale Unruh and passed from this life on August 6, 2018 in Fairview. She lived her entire life in the Isabella-Ringwood areas. On October 7, 1956 Anna Mae married Jay Dee Wedel in Isabella. They celebrated sixty-one years together. Anna Mae worked in the Ringwood Schools cafeteria for nineteen years. She always looked forward to the monthly Wedel family breakfasts and attending and watching OU games at Scott’s barn. She also enjoyed bowling and fishing. Anna Mae was a member of Zoar Mennonite Church in Goltry. She loved her church family.
Those who preceded Anna Mae in death included her parents; brothers, Marvin, Jake, Fred, Alfred, Orval and Milferd.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Dee of Ringwood; her daughter, Dianna Buller and husband, Doug of Goltry; her son, Rick Wedel and wife, Angie of Fairview; four grandchildren, Rebecca Buller, Deavon Guertler and husband, Sam, Cole DeQuasie and Rowdy Standifer; her sister, Luella Pierce of Ponca City; special family friend, Mary Walker; numerous brothers-in law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Ringwood Fire Department - EMS or the church through the funeral home.
