July 16, 1950 - November 19, 2020

Roberta Ann Brinson was born July 16, 1950, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and she passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

Roberta was proud to be the daughter of Roy and Evelyn Cornell. Because her daddy worked for the pipeline and they traveled some, she started kindergarten at Spring Hill School in Pharoah, Oklahoma, later attended Crooked Oak in Oklahoma City and graduated from Ringwood High School.

Roberta married Clide Herbert Brinson on August 16, 1968. She worked for a short period of time making limeades at the Kidd Drugstore in Fairview, but the job she took the most pride in was being a homemaker to her husband and mother to her children. Roberta loved to sew, cook, quilt, and paint and was excellent at them all.

Roberta is survived by her husband, Clide Brinson of Ringwood; son, James "Jamie" Brinson of Enid; daughter, Barbara "Barbie" Ools and husband Les of Enid; daughter, Misty Brinson of Ringwood; grandchildren, Blake, Jaden, Kelsie, Harley, Garrett, Audrey, Justin, and Gavin; six great-grandchildren; sister, Gayla Woodin; niece, Brandy Roulet; nephew, Jarrod Morris; and many other family members whom she adored.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and two baby brothers.

Funeral service for Roberta will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Wesleyan Church in Ringwood. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery near Ringwood, with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Helena. Memorials may be made to Ringwood United Methodist Church Building Fund through the funeral home.
