A graveside service for Laura E. Welch, 98, of Buffalo, formerly of Dodge City, Kan., will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, in Square Cedar Cemetery, Cleo Springs. The Rev. Roy Wahlgren will officiate. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo.
She was born May 16, 1911, in Cleo Springs to Nathan A. and Sarah Mitchell Camp, and died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Grace Living Center, Buffalo.
She attended Cleo Springs schools. She married Myron Welch Sept. 17, 1939, in Buffalo. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Cleo Springs.
Surviving are one son, Richard Long of Dodge City, Kan.; three daughters, Loretta Webster of Blanco, Texas, Banita Bohannon of Branson, Mo., and Donna Mead of Buffalo; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron, three brothers, three sisters and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Grace Living Center, Buffalo.
