Square Cedar Cemetery



Funeral service for Velma Q. Jeffries, age 93, will be Friday, July 8 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Cleo Springs Nazarene Church with Rev. Jim Burggraf officiating. Private burial will be at Square Cedar Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.

The casket will be open on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday at the church one hour before the service.

Velma is survived by her son, Billy Joe and wife, Neva of Cleo Springs; three grandchildren, Rick Jeffries and wife, Susan of Ringwood, Janet Atchison of Edmond, and Marcy John of Fairview; eight great grandchildren, Jeffrie Davidson and wife, Amber of Cleo Springs, Jeremy Jeffries of Ringwood, Jason Atchison of Colombia, Missouri, Levi Jeffries and wife, Amanda of Waco, Texas, Zachary Jeffries Rock Springs, Wyoming; Nicholas John and wife, Mindy of Enid, Ashley John of Enid and Jordon of Helena; two great-great grandchildren, Joshua Davidson and Abbi John.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess and one brother, Vernon.

Memorials may be given to the Cleo Springs Nazarene Church through the funeral home.
