Kobe Allan Fulford, 18, of Waukomis went to his heavenly home on March 28, 2020 after battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was born August 30, 2001 in Monroe, Louisiana to Rogers (Shaun) Fulford and Kimberly (Wallace) Mahoney. Kobe was a Junior at Waukomis High School and was involved in Student Council, FCCLA, and Yearbook.
Kobe was a young man with a big heart. He loved animals of all kinds and was able to volunteer at the ESPCA for a short while before his illness made him stop. He adopted a dog, Teddy, that he loved with all his heart and hated that he was leaving him behind. Kobe also loved to travel, fish, dance, and bring joy to those around him. On days when he felt good, you could find him driving his car around just for fun like most young people. Family was very important to Kobe and was able to make many happy memories with his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kobe put his trust in Jesus and made the decision to be baptized at OU Children’s Hospital by Chaplain Victor Snaibel on March 26, 2020.
Kobe is survived by his parents, Rogers (Shaun) and Miley Fulford of Monroe, Louisiana and Kimberly (Wallace) and Paul Mahoney of Waukomis; sisters, Lindsey, Madison, Harper, and Winter. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Willis and Shirley Fulford of Delhi, Louisiana as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
Kobe is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gary and Karen Wallace of Aline and brother, Bradyn Fulford.
A private family service will be held for Kobe with burial at Square Cedar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
