Funeral services for Kathryn Fast, 80, of Fairview, OK, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Travis Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the South Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview.
Kathryn Ilene (Pendergraft) Fast was born May 7, 1935 at Watonga, OK to Ray and Avis Pendergraft. She departed this life on Friday, January 15, 2016 at her residence southwest of Fairview. Kathryn married Bob Fast in 1956 at Watonga, OK. Kathryn enjoyed planting flowers, listening to the ducks flying overhead, feeding her birds and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bob Pendergraft, Billy Pendergraft and Don Pendergraft; one sister, Joanne Pendergraft.
Survivors include her husband Bob Fast of the home; three sons, Rayfford Fast, Daryl Fast and wife Cassandra and Mark Fast, all of Fairview; one brother, Ed Pendergraft of Benford, FL; granddaughter Cassie Bryant and fiance Joel Bjornsen; great-grandchildren Chantell Geurian, Skylar Bryant, McKenzie Rose and Gabriel Bjornsen; Visitation with the family present will be from 6 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
