Funeral services for Daryl Wayne Fast, 57, of Fairview, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Marlin Hiett officiating. Interment will follow in the South Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 3 at the funeral home.
Daryl was born May 19, 1962 at Fairview, Oklahoma to Bobby and Kathryn (Pendergraft) Fast. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Daryl graduated with the class of 1981 at Fairview High School. He attended Okmulgee Tech. and studied auto body repair. He worked in Wichita, Kansas for the Pizza Hut corporate headquarters. He also team drove semi-trucks over the road. Daryl worked for Larry Fast Cattle Co. and also worked for many years for Charles Wichert.
Daryl enjoyed fishing, car racing, playing with his grandchildren and the outdoors. He married Cassandra Geurian in May of 2005 at Enid, Oklahoma. Daryl was a long-time member of the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church.
Daryl was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn. Survivors include his wife Cassandra of the home; daughter Cassie Jo Bjornsen and husband Joel of Enid; his father Bob Fast and two brothers Rafford Fast and Mark Fast, all of Fairview; six grandchildren, Chantel Jewel Bryant, Skylar Grace Bryant, Christopher Isaac Bjornsen, McKenzie Elizabeth Rose, Gabriel William Bjornsen and Thorson Godric Bjornsen; Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
