Saron Cemetery


Peter B. "Pete" Buller, 93, died early Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be at 2 PM Sunday at New Hopedale Mennonite Church in Meno with the Reverends John Voth and David Plett officiating. Burial will be at Saron Mennonite Cemetery in Orienta, directed by Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

He was born September 3, 1893, in Buhler, Kansas, the eldest child of Jacob and Katherine Heidabrect Buller. He was baptized upon confession of his faith on March 13, 1913, by the Rev. H. R. Voth. On May 14, 1916, he and Marie Jantzen were married by the Rev. J. B. Epp in Watonga.

Survivors include five sons, Raymond, Henry and Paul, all of Enid, Edwin of Salem, Oregon, and John of Tulsa; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, a daughter, a grandson, two great – grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.
