Graveside service for Mattye Smith, of Meno, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery west of Meno with Lanman Funeral Home Inc., of Helena, in charge of arrangements. Viewing will be Monday from 1-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. (www.lanmanmemorials.com)
Mattye was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Ringwood to JC and Roxie Headrick, and passed from this life Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. She moved to Meno in 1923 and she married Louis Smith on Nov. 16, 1940, in Ringwood. She was one of the owners of S&H Propane Company for 29 years and was also a farmer. Mattye was a member of the VFW in Enid for at least 50 years and also a member of the Ringwood Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Those who survive are her daughter, Debbie Davidson and husband, Mike of Meno; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Mattye's memory to M.A.R.C. Senior Center of Ringwood through the funeral home.
