Funeral service for Leland T. Holland, 83, will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Don Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Ames Cemetery, Ames, Okla.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Leland was born Aug. 9, 1927, to Mr. and Mrs. Cloyce Holland in Eldorado, Okla., and died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, in Enid, Okla.
He grew up and attended school in Eldorado, Pond Creek, Ada and Crawford, Okla.
His hobbies included horses and yard work. He was member of Western Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Mr. Holland worked for Tinker Air Force Base as a welder in their maintenance department, retiring after 17 years.
He served his country in the United States Army during the WWII era.
Mr. Holland married Lois on Nov. 8, 1980, in Ada, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; children, Robert Holland and wife Debora of Pleasanton, Calif., Andrea Holland of Richmond, Calif., Rhealyn Holland of Redwood City, Calif., John A. Wood and wife Debra of Hennessey, Okla., and Jo Ann Cottom and husband Gearld of Ames, Okla.; siblings, Lila McColgan of Ponca City, Okla., Lucille Nabors of Elk City, Okla., Haskell Holland of Tecumseh, Okla., and Laverne Watson of Pearidge, Ark.; sister-in-law, Lou Harper of Mooreland, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Holland; and great-grandson, Joshua Nolan Wood.

The funeral service for Lois May Holland, age 83, Hennessey will be held at 11:00am Monday, August 26, 2013 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryan Laramore and Pastor Don Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Ames Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-7pm at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Lois was born on July 3, 1930 to John Francis and Bertha (Campbell) Francis in Ringwood, OK, and passed away August 23, 2013 in Enid. She graduated from Ames High and worked many years in downtown Enid for J.C. Penny's, Vance Air Force Base, and Tinker Air Force Base. She married Leland Holland on November 5, 1980 in Ada, OK.
She loved horse racing and enjoyed going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities. Lois was a member of Ames Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, John A. Wood and wife Debra, Hennessey, OK and daughter, Jo Cottom, Ames, OK; stepchildren, Robert Holland and wife Debra, Pleasonton, CA, Ann Holland, San Pablo, CA, and Rhealyn Holland, Mountain Lake, Terrace, WA; six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; sister Mary Lee, Maycumber, CA; and sister in law Delores Francis, Neb.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 spouses, (brothers) Joe Francis and Earl Dean Francis, son-in-law Gearld Cottom, great-grandson Joshua Nolan Wood. Memorial may be made to Ames Baptist Church
