Pleasant Hill Cemetery


Graveside services for Deane Eck, 92, Enid resident, will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Chapel (Meno) with Pastor Gene Long officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Deane was born on January 23, 1925 in Salt Fork, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edwin Lee and Gertrude Luella Stockwell Winfield, and passed away peacefully on April 30, 2017 at her residence. She was raised in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1943. Deane graduated from Beauty School in Oklahoma City and in 1944, married Art Eck. He passed away in 1993.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Smith of the residence; three grandsons, one granddaughter, 2 great-granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons.

In addition to her husband, Deane was preceded in passing by her parents, son, Larry, 1 sister and three brothers.
