Funeral service for Paula (Scott) Ciampi will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:00 am at the First Assembly of God Church. Rev Dan Barrick will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Meno, OK. Visitation will be 5-6:30 Friday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Paula was born November 12, 1948 in Enid, OK to Donald L and Mary A Schaffer Scott and died January 15, 2013 in Enid.

She was raised in Ringwood, OK where she attended school and graduated in 1967. She attended Enid Beauty College.

She married Jerry Nichols in 1968. She later married Jim Ciampi on September 11, 1982 in Oklahoma City, OK. She moved to Sonora, CA where she worked at J.C. Penney’s. She loved the outdoors. She moved back to Enid in 1992 where she worked at J.C. Penney’s in Oakwood Mall. She later opened Big O Tire Shop on February 2, 1998 where she operated until her death.

She enjoyed being part of the softball games with her family. She enjoyed being at the race track and helping in all areas. She loved to travel and shop. Paula always liked to have fun, especially being around her grandkids. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband Jim of the home; son, Bryan Nichols and wife Shannon of Grand Prairie, TX, daughter, Tamara Nichols of Enid, OK; 5 grandchildren: Faith, Skylar, Chancellor, Bryce and Blaid; 2 great grandchildren: Logan and Leyton and cousin, Ray Ruth.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God - Clean and Clear Foundation.
