ENID, Okla. — Funeral for Deborah Burgin , 62, of Meno, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Faith Center Fellowship in Meno, with Pastor Cody Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Debbie was born to Robert and Dorothy (Farley) Chitwood on July 22, 1951, in Purcell, Okla., and passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, in Enid.
Debbie grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School.
On Nov. 27, 1988, she married Michael Burgin . They made their home in Meno.
Debbie worked as a secretary at D&J Oil Co.
Debbie loved being outdoors, kids and her dog, Spoody. She had a great sense of humor and loved life. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Texas Motor Speedway.
Debbie is survived by husband, Mike of the home; son, Gregory Chitwood and wife Leslyn of Enid; stepchildren, Shane Burgin , Justin Burgin , Debbie Koetter, Mick Burgin and wife Terri, Wes Burgin and wife Patty, and Tracy Harvey; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert "Butch" Chitwood and wife Willa Jean, and Louis Chitwood; sister, Peggy Morgan and husband Darrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jess Dean Osborne; mother, Dorothy Osborne; father, Robert Chitwood Sr.; stepson, E.J. Burgin ; stepson-in-law, Buford Harvey; great-nephew, Tristen McAlister; and great-niece, Madison VanBuskirk.
Memorials are to Ally's House, 4RKids or Meno Fire Rescue.
