LaNelle (Clowdus) Mueller
February 1, 1936 - December 5, 2023
LaNelle Clowdus Mueller was born to Lenna D. and Foy E. Clowdus in their home near Elmer, Oklahoma, close to the Salt Fork of the Red River on February 1, 1936 and passed from this life on December 5, 2023 at Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview.
At a young age the family moved to Dimmitt, Texas to farm. They lived there until 1952 when they moved to Lahoma, Oklahoma.
LaNelle graduated from Lahoma High School in 1954. She attended Phillips University in Enid for one year and Oklahoma A&M at Stillwater taking business classes. She then went to work for Enid Production Credit Association, where she worked for 25 years as a bookkeeper.
After LaNelle went to work for P.C.A., she married Donald Mueller on July 1957 at Lahoma. They were married 66 years at her passing. They were blessed with two sons, Tim in 1959 and David in 1964.
LaNelle left her position for P.C.A. when Don became a site supervisor for Lockheed Support Services, overseeing technicians on military aircraft projects. This required them to travel. During those years, they would travel to work in 35 states, some of them multiple times.
After Don's retirement they went on several cruises and bus trips across the United Sates and the Caribbean.
LaNelle enjoyed sewing. For a time she was making bridesmaids dresses and dresses for granddaughters. She also made pajamas for the grandchildren.
In her later years she enjoyed reading and crocheting afghans that she donated to nursing homes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Foy E and Lenna D Clowdus; her brother Foy Lynn Clowdus; two infant great grandsons, Luka and Landon Delgado.
She is survived by her husband, Don Mueller of Meno; sons, Tim Mueller and wife, Ronda of Meno and David Mueller and wife, April of Ringwood; grandchildren, Lianna Mueller of Enid, Andrew Mueller of Meno, Ashley Singleton and husband, Jacob of Enid, Kalee Delgado and husband, Hector of Fairview, and Emily Mueller of Ringwood; great grandchildren, Leo Delgado and Lily Singleton; sister-in-law, Eileen Clowdus ; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside service for LaNelle will be Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery west of Meno . Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 until 7:00.
