Debbie was born on June 15, 1955, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Woodrow Saunders and Anna May Cline Saunders and passed from this life on December 6, 2021, in Tulsa.
She married Paul Jackson on September 9, 1973, and to this union three children were born: Richard, Christina, and Mary. Debbie and Paul lived in the Ringwood area for forty-two years.
Debbie enjoyed baking, making birthday and wedding cakes and other baked goods for other people. She loved attending her kids and grandchildren's events. She made sandwiches and food to take along. If anyone came home from the hospital, she was there caring for them.
Debbie was a member of the New Beginnings Wesleyan Fellowship, where she served as nursery director. She worked at Bob's in Fairview, Ampride in Meno, and opened the original Jiffy Trip in Ringwood.
Those who preceded Debbie in death include her parents, Woodrow and Anna Saunders; stepdad, Kenneth Horst; grandchildren, Mark and Charles Stewart.
Survivors include husband, Paul Jackson of Ringwood; children, Richard Jackson of Cherokee, Christina Jones and husband Preston of Aline, Mary Stewart and husband Kyle of Ringwood, Steven Jackson and wife Catherine of Elk City; grandchildren, Xander and Gracia Jackson, Taylor and Melissa Jones, Joe-z and Erin Jones, Pazlie Jones, Laura, Lilli-Jo, and Kyleigh Stewart, Elizabeth Bowhan, Veronica Coley, Karissa Johnson, and Joshua Jackson; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Al Saunders and wife Bev of Colcord; sister, Teresa Yoder and husband Walt of Mustang; sister-in-law, Mary Jackson of Enid; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service for Debbie will be Monday, December 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Ringwood New Beginnings Wesleyan Fellowship. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Helena. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
