FAIRVIEW — Funeral service for Lorene Alice Pembrook, 82, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Orion Baptist Church with burial to follow in Orion Cemetery . The Rev. Orville White will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Lorene was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Orion , Okla., to Harry E. and Mable M. (Warner) Fortune and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Fairview Fellowship Home. Lorene grew up in the Orion area and went to Orion and Liberty schools to the 8th grade. On Feb. 7, 1946, Lorene married C.E. "Jack" Pembrook in Fairview, Okla. To this blessed union was born four boys, Gary, Lonnie, Russell and Mike. Lorene spent her life as a homemaker and with the four boys she stayed busy. She was member of Orion Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for about 15 years. Lorene loved to cook and bake and always made sure her husband and boys had their favorite meals. Lorene enjoyed fishing, crocheting and taking care of her boys. She loved to work in the vegetable and flower gardens. Lorene was a loving wife, mother, friend to many and will be truly missed.
Lorene is survived by her husband C.E. "Jack" Pembrook; three sons, Lonnie and LaDonna Pembrook, Russell and Melissa Pembrook and Mike and Amy Pembrook; four brothers, Alvin, Jesse, Lutreal and Larry Don; one sister, Claretta Stephens; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary; brother, Emil; one granddaughter, Gina Pembrook; and one sister.

ENID, Okla. — FAIRVIEW — Funeral service for Clarence Eugene "Jack" Pembrook, 88, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Orion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Orion Cemetery . The Rev. Orville White will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Jack was born March 9, 1925, west of Fairview, Okla., to George A. and Susie May (Boley) Pembrook and passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Fairview Fellowship Home.
Surviving are three sons, Lonnie and LaDonna Pembrook, Russell and Melissa Pembrook, and Mike and Amy Pembrook; two brothers, Orvin and Harley Pembrook; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
