Diane Louise (Dvorak) Jones, 66, of Fairview, returned into the arms of her Lord on July 1, 2015. She was born on March 26, 1949 to Louis William "Bud" and Pearl Louise Dvorak in Fairview, Oklahoma. She grew up in Northwest Oklahoma, graduating from Seiling High School with the Class of 1967. She married Jack Palmer on December 23, 1966 and the couple made their home in Helena where Diane worked several jobs as a cook and convenience store clerk. She again married to the love of her life, Dan Lee Jones, on July 4, 1986 in the First Christian Church of Fairview, a union of 20 years until Dan's passing in 2006. The couple made Fairview their home, and Diane was deeply involved with her community. She took pride in calling everyone by their first name, and was quick to tell a joke.

She will be best remembered for her love of people and her family. Even when her health deteriorated, she would still lead activities at the Fairview Fellowship Homes, and enjoyed running the "country store" where residents spent play cash earned from participation. In her spare time, Diane collected butterfly items, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and delighted in making painting projects out of her husband's woodworking projects.

In addition to her parents Bud and Pearl Dvorak, Diane was preceded in death by her husband Dan.

Left to carry on her legacy are three sisters, Donna Shuck and husband Herb, Delores Bensch and husband Barry, and Denise Laird and husband Barney, several nieces and nephews; as well as Dan's family: mother-in-law Virginia Jones, three stepchildren, Sherry Ann Jones, Mike Jones and wife Sheila, and Daniel Jones, sister in law Victoria Pilcher and husband Gilbert, brother in law Ronnie Jones, Jr. and wife Jill, and six step grandchildren, Christopher, Harley, Karissa, Aimee, Jacob, and Autumn, and a lifetime of friends from the community.

Memorial Donations may be made in Diane's honor to the Orion Cemetery c/o Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236 Seiling, OK 73663).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Elm Grove Community Church in Chester, OK with Pastor Orville White presiding. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery with Herb Shuck, Barry Bensch, Barney Laird, Dustin Shuck, Brandon Bensch, Jason Shuck, Michael Bensch, and David Whisenhunt serving as casket bearers. Honorary bearers will be Dean Shepard, Bob Silcott, Marion Bowmaker, Larry Rehl, and Mike Crelly.

The family of Diane Louise (Dvorak) Jones has entrusted her care, services and burial to director Luke Faires, and the caring staff of Redinger Funeral Home.
