Funeral services for Jewel Glee (Willits) Lowder, 77, were Wed., June 22, 2005, in the Fairview Funeral Home Chapel in Fairview, OK. Bishop Shields officiated with arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Jewel Glee (Willits) Lowder was born March 16, 1928, in Fairview, OK to Leroy and Mary Kathryn (Harmon) Willits & passed away June 19, 2005, at the Fairview Hospital.

Jewel grew up in Fairview & graduated from Fairview High School in 1946. She married Donald W. Lowder on Feb. 23, 1947, in Pratt, Kan. She was a homemaker & farmed & ranched with her husband.

She loved her home & the land was very important to her. Jewel devoted her time to her husband, children, grandchildren & church.

She was an very active member of the Chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints & held numerous positions within the church.

She is survived by he husband Don Lowder of Ringwood, son, John Lowder of Ringwood; daughter Kathryn Duffy & husband Richard of Guymon, OK; borther Verne Willits & wife Ann of Fairview; sister Yvonne Ward of Fairview; 10 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents & one daughter, Kerry Dawn Lowder.

Memorial contributions may be made throught the funeral home to the Perpetual Education Fund.
