Funeral services for Ruth A. Eubank, 87, will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 1996 in the Fairview Central Christian Church with the Rev. Edmund Pendleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Saron Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of the Fairview Funeral Home. She was born on September 24, 1908, in Rusk, Oklahoma, to Grant and Katherine (Beville) Webster and died June 16, 1996 at the Fairview Fellowship Home.
Ruth grew up in Orienta and attended Sharon Valley School and later attended Business College in Wichita, Kansas. She married Earl Eubank, September 2, 1928, and lived in the Orienta community. She was a homemaker and worked at the Orienta School for several years. Later they moved to Fairview. Ruth was a member of the Central Christian Church in Fairview. Also she was a charter member of the Golden Rule Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Earlene and Marion McCune of Enid and LaJean and Glen Minnick of Sand Springs; one nephew, Max Eubank, which they raised, of Tunica, Mississippi. Survivors also include one sister, Thelma Drake, of Enid; and sisters-in-law, Delphine Deskins of Wichita, and Mercedes Webster of Scottsdale, Arizona. Grandchildren surviving are David and Bea McCune of Enid, Jackie and Mitch Willsie of Exeter, Rhode Island, Christi and David Scritchfield of Helena, Mary Jo Stewart of Waukomis, Galen and JoAnn McCune of Buffalo, Rick and Cindy McCune of Mustang and Terri and Randy McCormick of Canadian, Texas. Also 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Earl; her parents; three brothers; three sisters; and one grandchild.
