03-09-08Enid, OK — A graveside service for Ervin Dean Denning, 81, formerly of Enid will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008, in Ames Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born March 31, 1926, in Ringwood to Leonard Joseph and Neata LaPlant Denning and died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in Mineola, Texas.
He graduated from business college, then served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as an accountant with Arco Oil and Gas Co. He lived in Mineola the past 11 years. He was a member of First Christian Church, Mineola, and a lifetime member of American Legion Post, Ames.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Elnora Denning of the home; one son, Terry Denning of Las Cruces, N.M.; one brother, Edsel Denning of Wichita, Kan.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
